We Are Leeds
(Sampled commentry:)
All-white strip
Fa-famous all-white strip
All-white strip
Fa-famous all-white strip
11 men, with just one heart
With just one dream (dream)
No one can stop
This great white machine
(Fa-famous all-white strip)
Rising again
Like a pheonix from the flame (flame)
Run 'til we drop
We take the knocks, and feel no pain
We are Leeds, we are Leeds, we are Leeds
We are Leeds, we are Leeds, we are Leeds
O-o-o-oh
We'll make our stand
At the top we'll stake our claim
Throughout the land
Everyone will know our name
We are Leeds, we are Leeds, we are Leeds
We are Leeds, we are Leeds, we are Leeds
O-o-o-oh
We've had our ups and downs
That's all part of the game
But we just love to hear the roar
As United open up the score
(Commentary:)
"...it's Bobby Davison, and he just put it there for
Leeds United. They swept their way to the other end.
Good move down the right, started by Strachan.
The cross came in... the Newcastle defenders, really I
think were standing still."
(2nd Commentary:)
"Tell 'em Dennis, how good Leeds are"
We are Leeds, we are Leeds, we are Leeds
We are Leeds, we are Leeds, we are Leeds
O-o-o-oh
(Repeat chorus to fade)

This song was released in early 1990 when the good times at Elland Road were
back. The club back up in the top flight. This is a catchy pop tune effort and many have likened it to New Order's
World In Motion but the Leeds United record was released 5 months previous. Written by Chris Speight,
Steve Speight and performed by The Crew.
